Job Placement Cell

Our job placement cell is a dedicated department responsible for helping students secure employment opportunities after completing their training programs. Its primary purpose is to bridge the gap between education and employment by providing various services and support to students. Some key functions of a job placement cell typically include:

  • Career Counseling: Offering guidance and counseling to students to help them understand their career goals, assess their skills, and identify suitable job opportunities.
  • Skill Development: Providing additional training or workshops to enhance students’ employability skills, such as resume writing, interview preparation, and communication skills.
  • Job Search Support: Assisting students in identifying job openings, both within and outside the institute, and helping them apply for relevant positions.
  • Networking Opportunities: Organizing job fairs, seminars, and networking events to connect students with potential employers and industry professionals.
  • Resume Building: Helping students create effective resumes and cover letters that showcase their qualifications and experiences.
  • Interview Preparation: Conducting mock interviews and coaching students on how to perform well in job interviews.
  • Placement Assistance: Actively liaising with companies and organizations to facilitate on-campus interviews and job placements for students.
  • Alumni Engagement: Maintaining a network of alumni who can serve as mentors, provide job leads, or offer insights into the job market.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Keeping records of student placements and collecting feedback to continually improve placement services.
  • The ultimate goal of our job placement cell is to empower students with the necessary skills and resources to successfully transition into the workforce, ensuring that their training institute’s programs lead to meaningful employment opportunities.

Job Placement & Industrial Linkage Committee

Job placement cell plays a lead role in placing the trained students in real life employment on completion of their training. Placement Cell of SSDI is entrusted with the responsibilities to coordinates the entire issues. Job placement cell coordinates, liaison and communicates with the job providers especially the industries and factories. The digital connectivity to the employers has added extra opportunity to choose and pick suitable and qualified candidates from the SSDI. Both parties enjoy greater freedom.

 

Job Placement & Industrial Linkage Committee is one of the strong cells of this institute administered and looked after by the Industry Relation and Placement Officer (IRPO).The focus and priority objective of this committee is to continuously monitor the ever increasing job market and establish a warm relationship. This has significantly improved the scope to hire our trained and qualified graduates by the employers. Creation and placement of job to the aspiring graduates also added attraction to the newcomers to the fleet of technical education. Professional training and placement of jobs immediately after their graduation has multiplied huge prospect for increasing industrial tour and industrial attachment.

However, some of the specific objectives of Job Placement & Industrial Linkage are:

  • Make a look forward and aggressive strategy to create industrial linkage and placement of
  • Create scope for talented and promising SSDI graduates for brilliant career opportunities at home and
  • Continuously counseling and motivating to build an aspiring
  • Continuously interact and consult with the employers and upgrade the level of training and
  • Preparing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with different organizations and Employers.
  • Inviting opinion and suggestions from Industrial Employers and Experts to improve and upgrade the level of skill and training in
  • Closely interacting with the Academic Improvement Committee for industrial visit and
  • Making a strategy and approach for approximate 90% job placement of the SSDI Graduates within and beyond the
